Embedded Systems and Control Engineering
Embedded Systems and Control Engineering provides students with a fundamental background in the basic theoretical concepts and technological principles that constitute the foundation of modern control engineering. The set of courses gives students a basic introduction to control systems and their realization using digital, alalog, and hybrid systems, mathematical concepts and methods that are fundamental to the study of system dynamics and control, flexible manufacturing systems, and computer-controlled system laboratories. The main research areas include adaptive control, intelligent control, motor control, robust and multivariable control, power systems, and sonar/radar signal processing.
